EASTER!

We had a really FUN easter this year! We colored eggs with my family and then Easter day we had my cousin's baby blessing and then we went to my Nana's to eat dinner! We both did baskets for eachother and that was really fun! I LOVE SPRING! It makes me so HAPPY! We are finally getting our yard in order and I am so excited to clean my windows and blinds! Yeah for spring cleaning! Hope everyone had a great easter!

I've always wanted a pet...

Well I forgot to add this story into my last post. So probably like a month ago I went downstairs in our house to try on some shoes with my pants, so I looked in the mirror liked the shoes, took them off and went back upstairs. Not more than five minutes later we went downstairs to get our shoes to leave. I put my right foot in my shoe...fine....left foot...and I thought "oh that's funny why is there a sock in the toe of my shoe?" so I took my shoe off and held it up to dig out what I thought was a sock...are you ready for this??? and freaking out runs a little mouse! AAAAWWWW I bet you can guess what happens next. My shoe went flying a I went running! I just had my foot all the way in my shoe with a fetching mouse in the toe of it! UGH! I was freaking out for quite some time and to make matters worse it ran under our dryer and when we moved the dryer we could not find it. Immediately I made Brad go out and buy some traps so that we could catch the stupid thing.

Later that night we got home checked the traps...NOTHING. This mouse was not about to be caught. So after Brad PROMISED me that the little monster couldn't get upstairs, we were putting some stuff away in the kitchen and the little fur ball was chilling on my dining room floor. I screamed and climbed up on the counter and Brad got the broom a began to hit it. It was like playing wack-a-mole at Lagoon! Once again he got away! UGH UGH UGH. He ran behind the fridge, and to shorten up the ending Brad's friend Russ had to come help Brad catch it cause I wasn't about to assist in something that tried to wear my heels! So finally we caught it and now we have been mouse free for a month! YEAH!

So maybe the next time I ask for a pet I'll be more specific in the kind of pet I want!
MEGA POST...again?...I know big surprise right?!

WOW! Spring...well if you want to call it that has gotten off to a great start! We are having so much fun with life right now and staying really busy, time is just flying right by us! So if you're interested(I think I mostly talk to myself on this blog, but oh-well) here is what we've been up to:

The last week of March we went to see our bro and sis in good ol' Wyomming. The ocassion was our nephew Chance's one year birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY! It was really fun, I mean not that Wyomming has a lot to offer, but it was fun to hang out with Hil and Wyatt and the babe cause we hardly see them, but good news...they're moving back in may YEAH!

So we mostly just relaxed, talked it up, and had a grand ol' time! On Saturday, Chance's actual b-day, we went swimming and then went back to the house for pizza, presents, and cake! Chance was so cute opening all of his presents. Brad and I got him a Madagascar singing card and I think that it was his favorite present of all, he'd open it and start dancing...the cutest thing ever!

Thanks for letting us CRASH the party guys!

Chance with his singing card..."I like to move it move it!"

We went on a double date with our friends Chris and Kara. We went Cosmic Bowling! It was a blast, but I think that I got last place:( I'm not too good, and since we lost we had to buy Chris and Kara ice cream! It was way fun!

Last week I had a work meeting and so Brad beat me home and when I walked in the door there he was greeting me and he took my bags and coat and walked me upstairs and I found this...

I have the best husband in the WORLD! After we ate our Chinese food we watched American Idol and snuggled on the couch...my idea of the perfect night!

Now the next thing i'm going to talk about is something that is very close to me...it Connie my Corolla...ha ha and she reached her 200,000 mile mark this week. It's a big step for her. She's been through a lot in her years with me, but we always come out on top and she is still running like a champ! Since we got married Brad has been the one to drive her and I'm a little jealous cause I think that she likes him better, but I think the one thing that she misses about me is my cleanliness. Oh-well we will always love Connie!

I hope that I can accomplish in my entire life just half of what Connie did. If I can do that then I will die a pleased women! ha ha

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
