6 hours is WAY too long to spend in the ER...

January was a long month for us. Max got a really bad case of Croup the first week and we ended up having to take him to the ER at 3 in the morning because it was SO BAD! When we first got there they immediately had Respiratory come down to do a breathing treatment on him. After the first one didn't work, they tried another one. He was SO EXHAUSTED from no sleep and crying from them shoving ALL these medicines down him, but he was such a little trooper! It broke my heart to see him this way!

I Laugh at this picture cause he looks so funny, but remembering how he felt was NOT SO FUNNY!

After the second breathing treatment wasn't working, they were talking like they were going to admit us. I was really nervous because he wasn't getting better and his breathing was so labored. They came and did a breathing treatment for the THIRD time and a couple hours after that he ate something and was starting to get a little better. I was SO GRATEFUL that we didn't get admitted and that we were able to go home 6 LONG HOURS later! He did get better, but DANG that CROUP, I HATE IT!!!

I know I look MIGHTY SCARY...and CHINESE in these pictures but keep in mind 3 A.M.!!!

He was so so so SICK...Makes my heart ache! The next night at work, one of the nurses that helped with Max told Brad that he was the SICKEST little boy that she had seen there in a long time. She hid her worry well though that night, and for that I'm so THANKFUL!!

I LOVE my little boy so so much! We have so much fun playing together all day! He is so entertaining and such a funny kid!

 New Years!

For New Years Eve we went to Grandma and Grandpa O's party at the church and then out to my parents to watch a movie. Like I mentioned before Brad worked A TON through out the holidays so he was dead tired and pretty much slept through it! I made sure to wake him up for my KISS, but after that he was back to SNOOZING...Max was asleep too. Pretty much we are LAME and BORING! ha ha

The only pictures I took were of Max at the church. He LOVES the vacuum which is weird cause he used to be terrified and now he always is helping me clean. It's AWESOME!!

So I guess I'll start with Christmas...

It might be a while till I make it all up to date, but you gotta start somewhere and better late than never right?! (oh and I really, really, really want to post pics of his birthday but I'm waiting on pictures so I'll get around to that too!) until then enjoy pictures from 2 months ago...ha ha

.CHRISTMAS 2010.

Max playing the Chimes at Nana and Papa Blau's Chrismas Party. We had a blast! They have it at the church so there is TONS of room for all the kids to run around and play! We ate yummy food, sang, played chimes, and opened presents. Max got a Pillow Pet which he LOVES. I was worried cause I hadn't gotten him the "IT" gift, but Nana pulled through for us! Brad and I got movie tickets! Thanks Nana and Papa!

Christmas Eve was spent at my Parents house eating the traditonal Clam Chowder and Breadsticks, sitting by the fire, and opening presents....and I have NO PICTURES to document it!

SANTA FOUND US!

It hardly felt like Christmas to me. It could have been cause Brad worked the ENTIRE holiday season (thanks for always working so hard babe), or maybe I just wasn't feeling it, but we had fun none-the-less! Christmas morning started SUPER early...about 6 a.m. Brad had to work so we wanted to get up and spend time with him before he had to go babysit the inmates....I hate you STUPID inmates, however, I'm glad that you broke the law. Because of you my husband will ALWAYS have a job! ha ha We opened our presents (what a HOOT watching Max...He LOVED it) and had a nice Christmas morning breakfast. Biscuts and Gravy. Brad's request.

When Brad headed off to work Max and I played with all his new toys and then headed to my parents house to hang out with them for a while!

Max absoultly LOVED all of his presents and opening them too, which surprised me. Brad was SO excited about the little Police Mini Coupe thing and Max LOVED it too. I think that it made Brad SUPER happy that he LOVED it as much as he did! My favorite presents that I got were my Shark Steamer. Thanks mom. and Brad's parents gave us FOOD STORAGE. So NICE. I'm excited to pick the stuff I want and go can it! Brad's favorite presents were his new 4G My Touch Phone. Work boots and hand cuffs....BORING...That's what he wanted though! Whatever?!
