Update...
This blog is long-overdue for an update...this pregnancy is gonna be the death of me, and so me feeling like CRAP and STRESSED to the MAX with projects like the room, has about put me over the edge! I have felt like the World's WORST Mom lately cause I don't feel like ever getting my camera out to take pictures and so I feel like I've let so many of Max's milestones and funny things he says just slide on by! It makes me so sad! I've got to do better and I've got to get a post about him done before I forget so many of those things!
...
ANYWAYS,
....
Enough sob story!
This post and the 2 after this are a few things that we've been up to that I've actually managed to get pictures of!
I turned 25 on May 21! Brad had asked me what I wanted and I told him that all I wanted was to sleep in!
....
So he gave me just that!
I got to sleep in, eat birthday cake for breakfast, get ready, go to lunch and a movie with my man, and have some family time that night!
The day before, we had a YUMMY BBQ with my family and had birthday cake and S'MORES around the fire! It was a fun 2 days and I'm so glad that I got to spend it with family!
Excuse the pictures of me...I try to avoid the camera now because I'm one CHUNKY MONKEY, but I guess it's good to have these moments documented!

Max and I spent a weekend in Park City with my family! It was so fun and SO nice to get away for a couple days! We missed Brad so much and we were sad that he was working. He is such a good hubby and daddy! We LOVE him to pieces!
We had fun celebrating my Dad and Kauley's Birthday, eating yummy food, shopping, and swimming!
Max is a little fish and most the time refused to wear his water wings. He would just jump right off the side of the pool wheather someone was there to catch him or not! He LOVED the water and ever since that trip asks to go swimming EVERYDAY! ha ha

Max and Naves really are such great little friends! I LOVE this picture and this was such a fun day to remember! Stace brought Nave's pool over to my parents and Max and Naves just played and had fun in the water and Stace and I just got to sit and chat! I LOVE chill, and realxing days like these!

We are LOVING that it has been nice weather. We LOVE to be outside swinging, jumping on the tramp, squirting the squirt guns, running around, and just enjoying the weather!
I have so much to do before this babe comes that it isn't even funny! I only have 6 weeks left
....
AH
AH
AH
....
Brad has told me time and time again that it WILL ALL GET DONE and to not stress, but it's just my nature!
Max keeps me on my toes EVERYDAY! I LOVE him so much and would not have made it through this pregnancy without him making me laugh on a daily basis! We make daily trips to get our drink and treat and he is my little buddy ALL day EVERY day and I LOVE it! Hope everyone is havin a great Summer so far!

Fun at the ZOO!!!
For Cousin Parker's actual birthday the Fry's invited us to go spend a day with them at Hogle Zoo! We thought that since we were going on a week day that it wouldn't be so crowded, but it was! It was still fun to get out and see all the animals and the weather held out for us till the drive home, so the trip was a SUCCESS!
The kids LOVED the Carousel and seeing all the animals! Out of all the things we saw Max said the most about the chickens...ha ha...they were his favorite!
I LOVE the pictures of Max, Chance, and Baylor sitting, and waiting for the train!

Max, Chance, and Baylor watching the ELEPHANTS!

As you can tell by this picture, it was a long and exhausting day, but very fun!

Easter 2012
Everyone says that holidays are more fun with kids....I beg to differ...Max was a BEAST on Easter, but all-in-all it ended up being fun, one to remember, and we all survived...which is all that matters!!
Here are some pictures of Easter and the fun weekend that we had!
This is the PERFECT picture of his true colors shining through....sad part is, this is the face that I saw almost the entire weekend! Ah! The joys of a 2 year old!!
The pictures above are a week before Easter and it's Max opening his Easter present from my mom...she just couldn't wait any longer to give him his Toy Story toys! Max was in HEAVEN!

We started Easter off right by coloring eggs at my parents house, this has become a tradition now and it is so fun! Max LOVED it!  He was, for the most part, so careful with the eggs and loved watching white eggs turn colored! Him and Navie's favorite part was pouring out the cups of color into the sink! ha ha

The Saturday before Easter we headed over to Brigham for Nana and Papa's Easter Egg Hunt!
This was an early morning and a busy busy day so this could be what set Max's mood for the rest of the weekend, but we still had fun in between all his tantrums!! ha ha
The hunt was more of a "FREE FOR ALL" cause the kids are still pretty little, but Max had fun
...
He was so excited to get candy, that he started with opening every egg he picked up and trying to eat the candy before moving on to the next one!
....
We didn't let that last for very long, and he soon figured it out!!
After the hunt we had a YUMMY BBQ and headed to the church to celebrate Parker's First Birthday Party! It was a really fun afternoon!

Brad had to head to work after the party with his family, so Max and I headed to lunch and ANOTHER egg hunt with Nana and Papa Blau! I LOVE spending time with family and so it was a fun day visiting and eating candy! Max of course LOVED playing with Naves! They are learning to play so good together and he gets SO excited when he knows she is going to be at something!

Easter Morning/Day was another rough one for the Max Man. He woke up super early and VERY ornery, but he did manage to SMILE when he saw that the Easter Bunny had left him some fun surprises! He got SPOILED with a little table and chairs, some play food, bubbles, Toy Story 3, some play clothes, socks, Rex the Dino, a Monster Truck, and a stuffed Bulls eye that he LOVES!
After playing for a bit and getting ready for church, we headed to church with my family and then went home for some much needed NAP TIME!!!!
Brad of course had to work after church so Max and I took LONG naps and woke up for some more Easter fun!

We have never done the famous EGG ROLL that my dad's family does every year, but we decided to go this year and it was actually really fun! Max liked being outside and it was fun seeing family and eating cookies!

That about wraps up the Easter Holiday at the Nelson house! It was full of family, fun, candy, and food! I LOVE Easter because it means that spring is coming so it is something that I always look forward to---so here's to a happier boy next year so that we can all enjoy it a little more:)
