FEBRUARY!
We have been so busy, but having so much fun this month, and surprisingly a lot of things have taken place. Max's blessing on February 7th, Valentines Day, Our first date night w/out Max, Max's 2 Month appointment, Brad working...A LOT, me being a Mom, me going back to work in 2 weeks:( and us leaving for St. George in 3 days! YAHOO! Oh and January 30th Max's friend Daxton Rose was born. They're 6 weeks apart and Max easily doubles Dax's size! So this post is going to be full of pictures so be prepared! Most of them of Max of course! We just love that "little" guy!

Maxon's Very Special Day

We blessed Max on February 7, 2010. It was such an AMAZING and fun day shared with many (like 90 total) friends and family! Brad gave Maxon James such a sweet blessing. I don't think that either of us stopped crying the whole time! It made me realize how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband and little boy! I just love both of them so dang much I can hardly stand it! After Sacrament Meeting we went and had a wonderful lunch and talked and took lots and lots of pictures!

Dax came to visit!

The 2 Amigos Dax and Max! Dax weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. at birth Max weighed 8 lbs. at birth even though Max is quite larger I think that they will still be the best of friends! I love the picture that looks like Max is kissing Dax's head! ha ha Dax is smiling too! Oh I just love them!

Valentines Day!

For Valentines Day we kept it pretty low key, but it was such a great one! Me my mom and Stac made a special dinner for the boys and we all just pretty much hung out together. It was a lot of fun! Max got spoiled my his Mimi and Nana. Brad got a watch and a card and I got money for clothes and card! It was a fun day!

p.s. Stac I descided to not put any of our silly pics up because...well you know! ha ha

Brad took me out to dinner since we didn't really get a date night for Valentines day. It was a lot of fun, but I missed Max so much in just 2 short hours! Aw how am I going to go back to work!?:(

I can't believe that Max is already 2 months old here are some things that he likes to do:

*Sleep, he is a great little sleeper not really on a scheldule, but hey, he sleeps like 7 or 8 hours at night!

*Eating, still every 2 hours usually!

*Playing with bright colored toys!

*Reading books with mom!

*Grabbing things and putting them in his mouth!

*Sucking on his hands!

*Taking tubbers, he'll always love this I'm sure!

*Going for rides in the car!

*Smiling for cute girls, oh and Dad...he loves Dad!

We went to the doctor for his check up and his shots:( The Doc said that he looks healthy and everything looks great! We love Max so dang much. He is such a special blessing in our home!

Well we are off to St. George in 3 days for a week of RELAXING! YAY!

Worlds Best Mother, and Wife

Well I am not sure how this blogging stuff works but I will give it a shot. I just wanted to let the world know how lucky Maxon and I are to have a wonderful woman in our lives. I am constantly amazed at the unselfish love, and patience that Kenz has for our wonderful little boy. No matter what she is loving him. It is wonderful to see even when he is mad and screaming at all hours of the night she just smiles at him and tells him how cute he is. I love to watch as she comforts him when he is sad, and plays with him and makes him smile when he is happy. I feel so lucky to have Kenz in my life, I know I do not deserve her and must try every day to make myself deserving of her love! We love you babe! Thanks for all you do for your boys!!!

Keeping up with the Nelson's

(there are a lot of posts under this so keep reading if you want!)

Lately blogging has been the last thing on my list of things to do, but tonight Max went to bed at a decent hour so I figured I'd play catch up on our blog...3 hours later, here I am still playing catch up! Life has been pretty crazy around here lately, but we wouldn't change anything! Max is doing great, growing like crazy and changing everyday! We love him so much! For the most part Max is a great baby. We are trying to establish a routine, but he sleeps well once he is asleep, it's getting him there that is the issue! He eats very well. He's probably up to about 12 pounds now. I was nursing him and feeding him a formula bottle after cause what I had wasn't enought to satisfy him, but he was way fussy and pooping a lot and acted very uncomfortable. So now I'm no longer giving him formula and when and if I do i switched to the sensitive kind. I hope that it will be a little easier on his stomach! Without the formula he's seems so much better and he's been a much happier babe! We are all learning things everyday and somedays it is very hard, but being a parent is the best calling in life!

My friend Ashley did Max's pictures at 2 weeks old! they turned out so cute! I love them all. He was so good while she was taking them, I was so surprised! She did a fantastic job! She also did his birth announcement for us and I love the way that they turned out too! Thanks Ash!

*Happy Birthday Momma*
On January 22, 2010 my mom turned 46! She is the BEST mom in the world. I love her so much! She's helped us out so much since we've had Max and I don't know what I'd do without her! She is so talented and so positive and very hard working. When I grow up I want to be just like her! Happy Birthday Mom I love you!

One Month Old!

At one month old we've figured out that Max

-Loves his tubbers

-Loves to eat (I feel like I plan my whole day around nursing that kid!)

-Loves his car seat

-Loves to go to Mimi and Nana's house

-Loves to snuggle

-Loves to sleep in Mom and Dad's bed (bad I know, but Brad works graveyards so I justify it that way!)

-Farts A LOT!

-Stays up late and sleeps in

-Smiles a little (we look like idiots trying to make him smile for us!)

Each day he grows and learns new things! I love spending time with him singing and talking! He is such a good baby!

Maxon's First Tubbers!
We were waiting and waiting for Max's belly button thing to fall off so that we could give hime a bath...it finally did and boy does he love the tub! He cried for a second when we laid him down in the water, but after getting used to it he LOVED it! It's getting out that he hates, but I think that every babe is that way! I've started bathing him at night and I think that it helps him sleep better, but it's so funny, he'll be screaming and i'll turn the water on and he stops instantly!
