Halloween Fun!

Lots of posts after this one!
Catch up time for me!

Halloween was a CRAZY, CRAZY day...
I was a little bummed because I got all excited for Max to wear this costume...
It's a horse if you can't tell and it's what he chose many months ago when I decided to order it online for 70 bucks...AH! To say I was mad would be an understatement, when we put it on him the night before and he started hitting the head of the poor horse and screaming till his throat had to of killed him....but Halloween should be fun and is mostly about the kids....RIGHT?!
I knew that Brad and I were gonna be COWBOYS (get it?...Cowboys and a horse?!)
so we threw Max's costume together Halloween morning and headed off Trick-or-Treating to Nana Blau's house!
I think he made a pretty cute COWBOY!...
and, you guessed it...the "CHEESE" face...AGAIN!
Little Navie Lynn was the cutest LADYBUG on the PLANET!!
Stace, the COWGIRL. and Naves, the LADYBUG!
After Nana Blau's house we went to Macy's...
They had a cute little Trick-or-Treat thing going on for the Kiddos!
This is Max running like a BAN CHE through the parking lot!
Kyle, the COW. Naves, the LADYBUG. and Max, the COWBOY!
After nap time (oh, bless you nap time) Brad got home from work and we headed out to Grandma O's house to go see everyone...
While we were there she thought that she had the perfect prop for Max's costume.....
A stick HORSE!
He LOVED it!
Last stop was Trunk-or-Treating in my mom's neighborhood...
Max was worn out by all the excitement, but still LOVED it...
His bucket got so full that we has to start filling his hat!
Mimi, Kaul, and Max
The COWBOY NELSONS!
Max's stash!

Even though we had quite a few meltdowns....
It was still a really fun Halloween!

Pumpkins, cookies, and fun...OH MY!

Every year my mom plans a day for us to all come over carve pumpkins, and make cookies! It is so much fun to just spend time together as a family and talk, laugh and eat!
Brad had to work this time...
We missed him a lot!
I decided to let Max paint his pumpkin...
I figured it would be easier instead of trying to carve it...
he LOVED painting it...GO ME!
He was concentrating so hard and he kept saying "Queen!"
I think he was trying to paint a McQueen pumpkin!

Here is all the finished LOVELIES!
Max and mom with his finished pumpkin!
It looks like McQueen to me!
Little Naves making a silly face!
Maxers was such a big helper while making the yummy sugar cookies!
My Lightning McQueen Pumpkin that I made just for Max!
All the pumpkins lit up!
Such a fun day!

Max's first trip to the DENTIST!

October 26, 2011...
Max's first trip to the Dentist!
Needless to say...He didn't LOVE it!
Never get old....CHEESE!
Sitting in the chair learning about all the "tools"!
They were so cute with him and were naming all the tools off and showing him what they did...
then they tried to lay the chair back...
UH-OH!
 He wasn't having it!
They even had CARS going on the TV in the ceiling, but it was a no-go!
So after I got my teeth cleaned (no cavities...WAHOO!) the Dentist took a quick look in Max's mouth and said that it look GREAT!
Way to go buddy!

Pumpkin Walk!

What would the Fall season be without the annual North Logan Pumpkin Walk!?
I was excited to take Max to it this year because I thought that he'd understand more this year...
He LOVED it and we had such a fun night!

The regular from Max...CHEESE!
Max and mom waiting for the bus to take us up to the Pumpkin Walk!
De de and Kyle riding the bus!
Family photo!
It was cold and we had to wait in line for way too LONG, but it was dang fun!

Pumpkin Patch!

Brad's cousins live in South Jordan. We wanted to get out of Cache Valley and Jess told us of a fun little Pumpkin Patch by their house, so we took off down there for a Saturday of fun!
Kamree and Max playing on the TRACTOR!
Max LOVES tractors!

Trying to get both of these cuties smiling is next to IMPOSSIBLE!
This is the BEST we got:)
They had these little wheelbarrows for the little kids to push around...
Max got a kick out of that!

He found the PERFECT pumpkin!
Brad pushing all our"pumpkins" around:)
They also had a little corn maze for the kids, and tractor rides...unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the tractor ride:(
Family Picture!

It was so fun to just spend time together hanging out...we went to Red Robin and ate and then Jess and I went and did some shopping while the boys watched the kids! YEE HAW!

Walk up Logan Canyon's Nature Trail!

A couple Saturdays ago we woke up and the weather was GORGEOUS so we decided to go for a walk up Logan Canyon! It was so pretty! I LOVE all the colors of Fall and even remembering the smell....AH, just getting out into some fresh air was so nice!
Max's jogging stroller needs new tires so we were stuck with this one...it wasn't too fun pushing this in all the gravel!

This picture does not even do the colors of the leaves justice!
They were so beautiful!
We were so EXCITED to throw rocks into the water!

Attempting a family picture!
After he saw how much the BIG rocks made a SPLASH, he insisted on only throwing the BIG ones, so dad had to help!
I absolutley LOVE ordinanry Saturdays. No where to go, no agenda! They are the BEST!

Randomness...

These are just some pictures that don't really fit in anywhere else, but are BLOG WORTHY..to me at least!

Enjoying his licorice!

Brad is famous for leaving spare change just laying around, so we started telling Max that if he found "MONIES" that he can save them and put them in his bank. He gets the biggest kick out of this. It makes me smile!
Not quite sure what this face is all about! lol

My handsome hubby in his new suit!
Ow, Ow!

Max is sure enjoying his chocolate cake!
Boy does this boy have a sweet tooth!
This is what Max was supposed to be for Halloween...
Halloween came and he HATED that bloody costume! UGH!
Doesn't he look so cute as a little horsey?! I thought so...
He had something else in mind!
"Painting" in the tub...shaving cream and food coloring...he LOVED this!

Laying with daddy watching CARS before bed!
I LOVE these two so much!
