1 YEAR AND GOING STRONG!
I can't belive that it has already been one year since Brad and I got married! Time has flown right by, but I can't wait for the many more years to come and the many more great memories that we'll have to share together!
Brad and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on August 10th! It was so fun. We really didn't do anything special, because we are trying to save for our house, but doing nothing is really fun when your with the one you love! We slept in and Brad made me breakfast in bed, then we went out to my parents to eat and get our wedding cake. When we got home we cut our cake and ordered pizza because that's what we did on our honeymoon so now we've made it a tradition. After pizza we watched a movie and went to bed! I love chill days where you can just relax and be with each other and that's really all we wanted to do so we had the best time!

How We Met
Brad and I met at Arbys! We were both eating there at the same time he was with his room mate and I was with my friend Keeta. We started talking and then we ended up hanging out that night! RANDOM!

First Date
Brad and I had been hanging out FOREVER before we actually went on a real date! Brad took me to Salt Lake, we went to the Gateway mall and he bought me a hoodie and then we went and walked around Temple Square and he surprised me by buying a carriage ride aound the Temple it was so romantic!

First Kiss
Our first kiss was the seond time we hung out! Brad is a go getter and I wasn't quite sure what I thought about him, but he went in for the kill and so I thought what the heck. . .and he's a way good kisser so I was very impressed and I never regreted it!

First "I Love You"
I had felt that I loved Brad for the longest time, but I was not going to be the one to say it first! It was the perfect time and the perfect moment. We had gone for a ride in his truck on New Year's Eve and we ended up on top of the SV Hill. We were just sitting up there looking over the whole entire valley. . .it was so beautiful. We were listening to music and talking and right at 12:00 on the dot Brad leaned over and kissed me and told me that he loved me! I was so excited! My heart was pounding and of course I said it back! It was the perfect night!

The Engagement
We had known that we were going to get married for a while, but nothing was really being done about it. Then one day Brad told me not to make plans because we were going ring shopping that night! I was so excited! We ended up designing my ring and it turned out perfect! I knew that Brad had picked it up from the Jewler, but I wasn't sure when I was going to get it because he told me he wanted to wait until my band was done to give it to me cause he wanted to give me the whole thing! I was fine with it and tried to wait patiently! Well the night of the day he picked it up he wanted to go for a drive so we stopped by his house to grab some blankets and I had thought that he took the ring out of the truck, but little did I know that he had put it in his pocket. So we went for a drive and ended up on the SV Hill again, but this time we were sitting in the back of the truck with blankets and looking across the whole valley because it was a little warmer! He told me to hang on and he got out and was fiddeling with something up front. I asked him what he was doing and right then our song came on and he jumped up in the back of his truck and asked me to dance with him! We were dancing and he was telling me all this cute stuff and I was crying and thinking that it was the perfect moment. Right then he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! I said yes of course and he kissed me and hugged me! I was so happy! He proposed on March 17, 2007 St. Patricks day!

The Big Day
Brad and I were married on August 10, 2007 in the Logan, Utah Temple at 10:00a.m. It was such a perfect day! We were surrounded by our friends and family and all of our loved ones! We had a little luncheon at my church and the reception was in my parents backyard in Nibley! The whole day went just as planned and I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Our First Year of Marriage
Brad has been so successful in his job as a Transportaion Officer for Box Elder County and also as a Reserve Officer for Logan City! I graduated from New Horizons Beauty College and took the summer off to play and have fun with my hubby, but I will be starting my job at GQ Salon in Logan at the end of August and I am very excited! We have had such a fun year together as husband and wife!
The hardest part of our first year has been learning to budget our money, learning that not everything can be in it's place all the time, and getting used to Brad burping and farting whenever he wants!
The Best part of the first year has been never saying goodnight at the door, having a best friend around all the time, and learning how to take care of another person with cooking, cleaning and laundry!
I think that we both agree that this has been the best year of our lives and we can't wait to see what all the others have in store for us! Happy Anniversary babe I love you so much!

Officer Nelson is a great bailiff, but sometimes gets a little loud when in the office talking to the clerks. He saw the picture of himself on this blog in a swimming suit and screamed like a girl. Please take the picture down. Smile.
