(Easter Weekend that is...Did you really think that I'd be blogging about this weekend already...YA RIGHT...Way to good to be true!)

April is always a fun month for us. We have TONS of birthdays and Easter of course! April 25th is Brad's Mom's birthday. We didn't do anything as a family for it and my Brad has been working SO MUCH this month that we haven't even made it over to Brigham to see her and give her the birthday cards we got! We are BAD kids! Happy Birthday Mom! You are the BEST! We'll come see you soon!

April 25th and 26th are my Dad's and my Bro man Kauley's Birthdays! We always celebrate them together and this year we had yummy steaks and cake and ice cream! YUM! Brad actually had the day off so he was able to spend some time with us and we had a blast!

Anytime we sing Happy Birthday, Max ALWAYS thinks it's to him so he got to "help" blow out the candles!

Easter was so much fun this year! Brad and I both worked that weekend, but we found some time to have fun with family too!

On the Saturday before Easter, Max and I went over to my Mom's house to color eggs! Max LOVED it so much and let's just say...it was very interesting coloring eggs with a one and a half year old! ha ha I was busy trying to get most of it on video so I didn't get too many pictures, but trust me...HE LOVED IT!

We decorated Max with all the stickers that came in the coloring kits! He got a kick out of it! ha ha

Yes...I'm CRAZY! I have a tramp in my house!

We thought that this would be a fun way for Max to get some of his energy out! HE LOVES IT!

Our plan was to put it outside in the backyard, but it's so nice and I don't want it to get ruined so we'll see how long I can stand it taking up my whole house!

Max got super spoiled this year, but I want to spoil him while we can and Brad's all for it so, HEY, why not buy the kid a tramp! ha ha It was kind of funny cause obviously when he first walked into the room and saw it, he had no idea what it was. So what'd he do. He grabbed his freaking dollar store shovel and was like "OOOHHH!" HE WAS MORE EXCITED ABOUT THE SHOVEL THAN THE TRAMP! ha ha When we finally put him on it and kind of showed him what it was is when he started LOVING it and now most of the time, we can't keep him off of it!

Brad did such a cute basket for me this year!

I LOVE mint chocolate chip gum!

You can't really see, but he popped a bag of popcorn and used that as the grass in my popcorn bowl "basket"! Good job babe! Sure do LOVE YOU!

What a stud!

I found a sub for my class and we went to church with my mom. It was fun to see people from my old ward and Max and I got to go play in the nursery and that was a lot of fun too. It was so touching seeing all the nursery kids sit so well and listen to the lesson of the real meaning of Easter! I'm so thankful for the sacrifice of our Savior and while Easter is such a fun holiday it was so nice to remember that!
