Max is 18 MONTHS OLD!!!
I can't believe that I just wrote that! Holy cow! It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital holding him. Brand new. Not exposed to the outside world. Smelling of baby lotion, touching his soft skin. Him holding on to my finger. Cuddling him for hours on end, and soaking up every moment. I still try to do that everyday, but life gets so CRAZY and sometimes I find myself not cherishing every little moment that I spend with him. So that's why I'm doing this post. So that I can look back and look and all the fun times. What a GOOF he is. What he's learning, and most of all how much we love him!! No matter how CRAZY life gets. Our LOVE for our BUBBERS only GROWS stronger and more everyday!

We thought that turning 18 months old called for a little CELEBRATION! Nothing too big, but A LOT of fun! I thought that Pizza and cupcakes were an order. Those are 2 of Max's favorite things and I thought that it'd be fun to have for a HALF BIRTHDAY!!
Since I was working for my mom/watching Kaul that night, we invited Kade, Stace and Navie over to her house to have dinner with us! Max LOVED it and he got very messy!
Max has also been telling us when he's needs his diaper changed, so for a little "present" we bought him a potty! He's not very interested in it, and I'm not in a big hurry to potty train him, but I thought he'd like it and by the time he's ready, he'd already be acquainted with the potty! For now though, he just pushes it around the house! ha ha
So excited for pizza and cupcakes!!
Loving his cupcake!!
STUFFED!!! Look at that belly:)
Eating crackers, sitting on his new potty!
Bare bum! Pushing his potty around!

Max is such a funny little boy!
Whenever we are in a store he waves and says "hi" to everyone!
He goes to NURSERY now which makes me sad, but also relieved. Teaching 4 year olds with Max in the room was very hard at times, so it'll be so much less-stressful
This was a while ago, but he went through this phase of shrugging his shoulders and saying "UGH!" (he got this off of some Backyardigans episode.)
He still LOVES to eat. He will eat pretty much anything. His favs are tomato's, grapes, oranges, cereal (every morning when I go in to get him up..."Ceral" he calls it! It's the only thing he'll eat for breakfast!) anything sweet he LOVES, the only thing he's not too fond of is meet. He'll eat chicken nuggets, but that's about it, oh-and meatballs!
He LOVES the freaking show Caillou. I can't stand it, but he'll watch episode after episode if I let him.
We just bought a DVD player for our car and for camping, and he's obsessed with it. Everywhere we go he has to watch a DVD!
He knows what every animal says. Like EVERY animal. So cute!
He knows almost all his body parts.
He's getting the hang of his colors and counting too.
He is talking great. He pretty much says every word you tell him to, and he's started putting words together which is so funny and cute!
He can definitely throw a TANTRUM! He does this thing where he screams and bounces up and down on to his tippy toes. I can't help, but laugh when he does it!
He LOVES to read books.
He folds his arms so cute for prayer and says AMEN so cute too!
He LOVES his Binky STILL, and his burpy/snuggy! I'm not sure how we're gonna get them away from him.
He sings and does the actions for 5 Little Monkeys Swinging in a Tree. I LOVE it!
He still is signing really good, only now he does the sign and says the word, which helps me out A LOT!
He claps and says "YA!" all the time.
He does hi-fives and "bones" all the time.
He LOVES to dance to Justin Beiber and sing to Randy Travis!
He LOVES his Mimi, Pop-Pop and Nana and Papa.
He still sleeps well and takes a great nap during the day!
Everyday I spend with him I learn so much and LOVE him more and more! He is such a funny kid and is always making me laugh!
WE LOVE YOU MAXERS!!

Eating OLIVES!!

I'll be posting his 18 months stats and his 18 month pictures soon!
