January Wrap-Up!
Yes, I realize it's March and I'm posting about January, but I'm way far behind so that's why!:)
Max's first night in his "big boy bed"!

So, I have a short list of things that need to be done with Max before the baby comes
...
I've now crossed off 2 of those things! YAY!
Putting Max in a "big boy bed" was one of them. He is now doing so good with it and loves his new fire truck and cop car bedding! (pictures to come!)
The next was getting rid of that bloody BINKY! AH
Brad's sister gave us the idea of the Binky Fairy and it worked like a charm!
He left ALL of his Binkies on top of the fridge when he woke up and by lunch time she had came and picked them up and left him a "BIG BUZZ!"
He has had a Toy Story obsession so it worked out perfect! He only cried when he actually thought about it for about 3 days and then he was good!
Last on my list is potty training
....
I just seem to be putting it off! HELP!!!

PUDDING PAINTING!
Max had his stitches in these pictures! We have to find little things to keep us occupied through this long winter
...
I'm not complaining though because it has been a pretty mild one at that, but still, with a 2 year old it seems LONG!
He was in heaven with this for about 30 minutes! lol

January 22nd was my Momma's birthday! We made a weekend out of it by going shopping and out to dinner on Friday with my Aunt, Cousin and Nana. (no pictures of that:()
On Sunday, her actual birthday, we had pizza, salad, and cake! She opened presents and we just visited! It was fun! Happy Birthday Momma! We love you!!!
(Her candles were a 4, 7, and 1 for 47+1 because we didn't have an 8! lol)

One Saturday, Phil and De De invited us on a last minute trip to Hardware Ranch to see the Elk!
We couldn't pass up an opportunity to get out of the house so we of course went and had a ton of fun!
Max and Kyle are just the best of buds and I love watching them together.
The way they talk to each other in their own little language is the cutest!
We can't wait for Summer so we can have a lot more play days with Kyle out in the warm sunshine!
The boys loved seeing the Elk and we couldn't have asked for better weather either! It was still a little chilly,
but the sun was shining and it was beautiful!
Family photos by the horses...those were a big hit too!

January went by so fast, so did February, and March is too! AHHH!
Before we know it we'll be a family of 4!
I'm so excited, but going crazy with the fact that we have so much to do!
It WILL ALL get done, I keep telling myself!!

I let my kids fingerprint in the tub. You mix some dish soap ( like Dawn), corn starch and some food coloring until it is at a good consistency. They can paint with their fingers or a paint brush. When they are done - you just hose down the walls with the shower head a little towel and not only was it fun but I feel like i cleaned my shower too. You do have to keep about 3 inches of water in the bottom because if the soap drips on the floor it gets slippery!

kenz, potty training....its a big deal. But I am so grateful that I did it before the baby came!...and I would do it now so he gets it good and down before your baby comes...because he might regress a little. Im sure you are and will get plenty of advice...and everyone thinks that their was worked the best...so naturally that is what I am going to tell you. I used the 3 day potty training ebook. google it, its 25 dollars for the book...but hey thats just a little more than a box of diapers...and you have the book forever, so you can use it again and again! I can offcially say ty was potty trained in 2.5 days but it did take us about 2 weeks of good days and bad days to get pooping down. but really it was worth it, and it was hard and i wanted to give up a few times...but i didnt! so if you want any more advice message me on fb and i will talk you through what I did...so glad i did it and I loved the ladys philospophy on potty traing! Good luck~!
