Major Update....AGAIN!
I really need to be better at this blogging stuff!
We have had a busy month. I LOVE Christmas time...it means family time, good food, and Max's Birthday!
YAY!
I can't believe my baby will be 2 on Friday!
We will be having a SEMI, Low Key party...I say SEMI, because it's hard for me to not throw a big bash!
It WILL NOT be as big as his 1 year for sure...PROMISE! lol
Anyways, here are pictures of what we've been up to lately! I'll start with the most recent!
TEMPLE SQUARE
Last night we headed down to Temple Square.
I LOVE doing stuff with just our little family and it was so fun...COLD, but fun!
Max LOVED it! He especially LOVED watching the horses pull the carriages around!
It's always fun for me to go there...
it makes me think of when Brad and I were dating!
We went there on a date and Brad surprised me with one of those carriage rides...
SO ROMANTIC!!
Max all bundled up! I LOVE that smile!
I think he may be getting some molars...he had a fever all day yesterday and was still so happy!
I LOVE family time! It's the best!
VOICE MALE CHRISTMAS CONCERT
On Saturday our little bro AJ took all the girls to see Voice Male's Christmas Concert.
I've never seen them before and it was not what I was expecting...they are freaking funny!
It was so good! I LOVED it, and I thought that it was so cute of AJ to take all his sisters on a little date!
THANKS AJ!
This isn't the greatest picture, but I had to get one quick to document what a sweet boy AJ is!
Love you bud!
LIGHTS AT THE BAY
Last week for Family Night we headed over the hill to the Lights on the Water...?
Maybe that's not what it is called, but it's at Willard Bay and it's all these lights!
Brad's mom and AJ were able to come and it was such a fun little Family Night!
Max LOVED the lights.
He's working on colors right now, so he was guessing all the colors of the lights.
It was pretty stinking cute!
I think in all these the flash on the camera was a little bright...everyone is squinting!
We let Max sit up front to drive through and he thought that was pretty AWESOME!
FESTIVAL OF TREES
When the Festival of Trees was happening down in Salt Lake my family decided it sounded like fun....
it was fun, but not with a grouchy kid and the crowd....well, we could have done without!
It was still fun to have a night out with the family and look at all the pretty trees!
Max would get so mad because he'd want all the toys that were under the trees and it resulted in a major fit when we told him that he couldn't touch!
Ah...gotta love a 2 year old!

Max is forcing out the "CHEESE" here if ya can't tell!
and here too!
Mom, me and Naves!
DEPUTY NELSON
These pictures deserve a post of their own, but since I'm so behind I'll just mention it real quick!
Brad is FINALLY out on the road for Cache County!
HALLELUJAH!
It's been his dream ever since he was a little boy, and now he's living it!
Can I just say how awesome it is to have my husband LOVE his job so much...
OK, well I've been put on the back burner for a bit because he LOVES it so much, but the newness will wear off I think and then I 'll be important again! ha ha
I just LOVE that he never complains about going to work...
such a blessing!
First night out on the road!
THANKSGIVING
These are the ONLY pictures I took on Thanksgiving...
can you say LOSER!
Oh well!
We had a great Thanksgiving! We had it at Brad's Grandma's church in Hyde Park and it was so fun to chat with everyone and enjoy yummy food!
DECORATING THE TREE
Once again I'm a LOSER! I've been terrible at picture taking lately, but I managed to get a couple why we put up the Christmas Tree!
Max LOVED it!
He kept saying, "TREE...TALL!"
and
"TREE is PRETTY!"
I LOVE his little language!
While we were getting the tree up, Max decided to try on daddy's new boots...
then he realized he couldn't get out and was very sad about it if ya can't tell!
lol
MAX
Max is at such a fun age right now, but also a very frustrating age for me!
He is very good at throwing temper tantrums, whining and crying!
We still love him so much though and I just wish that the time wasn't FLYING by so quickly!
We were watching (I say watching cause I didn't help lol) the boys put up my parents Christmas Tree and Max made himself at home. He climbed up in the rocking chair, grabbed a magazine and read away!
He's so cute!
Max and all his crazy faces....
enough said!
I LOVE this kid!
MAX"S FIRST HAIRCUT
So as you can tell by the pictures, Max's first haircut wasn't a huge deal, it was more of a trim. I still snapped away while my mom cut (I was too nervous to cut it) and YES, I bribed my kid with Diet Pepsi...
KILL ME!
The last picture is the end result...not a huge change, but a little trim was good!
SNOW
This is Max the morning of the first snow fall this year! We got him up and took him straight to the window!
He was so excited to see the white stuff and knew exactly what it was!
Later we went and played it in for a bit!
Max LOVED it, but I can't get that kid to wear gloves for the life of me, so we had to go inside cause his hands got too cold!
He looks like he's crying in this picture, but he's really yelling "SNOW!"
COUSINS
Chance and Max are really starting to get along good!
These pictures were at our cousins Mission Farewell and Chance couldn't stop giving Max hugs.
It was so cute!
SQUEEZE!
THANKFUL TREE
So I saw the idea for a Thankful Tree on Pinterest and wanted to do it this year....
turns out, Brad's not into it and Max just wanted to color...maybe next year will be better!
Max coloring the leaves to go on the tree!
This was the end result....not as many things and I wanted, but we'll add to it next year and I think it will look better!
OK, so I'm all caught up with my pictures. Sorry if this post was boring to the 2 people who read this blog! I'm really gonna try harder to stay on top of it though and then I can do better at journaling the things we do as well, since that is what my intentions were in the first place!
Next up...Max's birthday, 2 year pictures and family pictures!
